The next three days we are testing our new data gathering Geogame GeoSnake. Around 12 players have registered to test our first implementation of it. So let´s have fun everyone :)...

After finishing all case studies at the middle of this year, we are happy to report that we have already or will present our research results at a number of workshops, conferences and in one book chapter. Please see the \"Research\" section on the detailed references.

Yesterday started a CityExplorer game where two cities compete against each other on one virtual game board. In Bamberg (Germany) and Shonandai (Japan) two teams try to place more markers in their cities than their opponents in the other city. Good luck and have fun....

The game CityExplorer and the results from the evaluation of the games played so far are being presented at the Breaking the Magic Circle Seminar in Tampere, Finland (Fourth annual Game Research Lab working paper seminar, see http://breakingmagiccircle.wordpress.com/). Sadly there will be no publication of the seminar papers, but we will be going to publish the results in some other from throughout this year. Zwei charmante junge Damen haben das zweite CityExplorer Spiel in Bamberg gewonnen. Mit einem überragenden Ergebnis von 19 (erika und uli) zu 5 (jan) zu 4 (neil) und zu 0 (MM-Team) Punkten konnten sie ihre männliche Konkurrenz hinter sich lassen. Auch bei den gesetzten Spielsteinen stellten sie eine neue Höchstmarke auf, insgesamt 182 Spielsteine haben sie während des Spiels aufgenommen. Weit abgeschlagen finden sich die Spieler jan mit 46 und neil mit 68 gesetzten Spielsteinen. Damit konnten die beiden Siegerinnen 9 von 12 Kategorien und 5 von 9 Feldern gewinnen. Herzlichen Glückwunsch ;). Als Belohnung für ihre Mühen erhielten sie das Brettspiel \"Carcassonne: Die Stadt\" in einer wunderschönen Holzschachtel, damit sie bei Temperaturen von um die 0 Grad auch mal zu Hause spielen können.
